Around here, however, we don't look backwards for very long.
We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious.....And curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

I see the same thing, but I believe he gets up to stand by the gaping window at the dreary rain. I'm curious what book that is though.

Very good photo. When I look at this photo I think of a candle-lit room, the author is hunched over his work as the branches of trees gently tap the outside of his window, the pitter patter of rain, the superflorous flooding of ideas inside of his mind, allows him to take a breathe and think, glasses he removes, to sit them atop his book.

I think of the person who wears those glasses and why they are sitting on his book and why he isn't wearing them. Did he take a break to go grab a cup of joe? Perhaps he was getting ready to clean them with a soft piece of cloth? Or maybe he temporarily took them off to rub his eyesm for he is getting sleepy from a long night of reading.

All in all, this photo inspires thinking.

thanks for sharing.
