I can relate to the beginning of Summer O’Dwyer’s article, “My Life in Color.” As she explained the first time she got normal glasses, it took me back to when I was in second grade and I got my glasses for the first time. Being able to relate to that feeling, I could only imagine the feeling of not only seeing clear, but seeing colors you’ve never seen before. I really admire the author’s hard work and dedication to save up $349 to pay for the special glasses needed to fix red-green color-blindness, considering saving money is a huge struggle of my own. Congratulations to the author, Summer O’Dwyer for finally experiencing a world full of color.
