Her
She could have seen me
Standing there
Waiting for her, wanting her
Unable to go up to her
She could have seen
If she was looking
She would have seen me standing alone
Alone with him
She was looking for him
Whom I was alone with
She didn’t look for me
Or wait for me
Or want me
Or love me
But him,
She wanted him
She loved him
I was left feeling betrayed
Betrayed that she had once said she wanted me
That she loved me,
That she would wait for me
Alone and betrayed, I stood
Quietly
For I still had to smile
I had to smile for her
For the girl I loved and for the boy I hated
Hate, runs through me
Hate consumes the inner parts of my mind, stopping me from loving whom I cannot have
I watched them walk away,
Together
Betrayed
