- What Matters
Love feels like a heated fire,
But really is desire,
Cooked up from your heart;
Your inner deths released from the dark.
Looking to the light above,
As you realize its him you love.
Another day another way,
For pain to seep through your love.
Passing you by with another girl at his side.
Coaxing and petting her hair,
While you're wondering why he cheated you,
And why with her.
A sudden gasp escapes your lips;
A twirl of colors and pain,
As he slaps you down to the ground;
Pulling you up by your hair,
Just for you to peer into his half crazed eyes,
To see evil pleasure burning there.
Tears stream down your pain stained face;
The girl grins evilly at you;
He's staring-smiling-not even caring,
About all ya'll have been through.
"It's over." he says.
The girl chimes in, "Yea little w****."
And just when your heart can't take anymore,
* * *
Sitting up in bed;
The dream still replaying in your head,
As tears stream down your face.
Beside your boyfriend stirs awake.
Seeing the tears he doesn't know what to make,
Of it and asks "what's wrong?"
You just shake your head and continue crying along.
He asks again- scared for you,
As you cry tears of happiness;
Realizing the dream wasn't true.
"I love you" you whisper out.
Into his arms you go - heted desire taking off....
Love feels like fire,
But is just heated desire.
Looking to God above;
Thanking him for the one you love
