Sleep-tight my love
Hold your final breath
For this the goodnight kiss of death

You've waited for me long
But now you wish to stay
I've taken my time but now we can't delay

I have you a home
It's heated just for you
Your neighbor you will meet as I make my next run-through

His heart is like mine
See-through, black
Maybe like him you'll fall and crack

I'll draw you in
Draw you nearer
You don't resemble the life in the mirror

It's time to go
Go far away
Only white in the face you now portray

Sweet dreams my love
Off to bed
Not gone to sleep but gone and dead

Listen to the song
The symphony
Although it's cold it is on key

I left my home
Now you leave yours
Turn off the lights and close the doors

Goodbye my love
I'll take your final breath
For this the goodnight kiss of death

I wanted it to be like a person tucking in a child or lover in bed but instead it's death. Feel free to interpret this any way you want though.

I know! I love your poem as well and how much the two have in common.
