Favorite Quote:
"Never, ever, ever give up."

The water glitters black as pearls in the night,
an eerie feeling creeps down my spine.

Pumpkins glow cast a glow from candles planted inside.

My skirt billows in the crisp, October breeze,,
as I race through the street flooding fast with Trick-Or-Treaters.

A full moon shines like a CD in the nighttime sky,
a big round of cheese filled with crater holes.

Fright blossomed by fascination arises inside.
My brother stark as stone, a home inspector.
Stands tall with his floppy, velvet hat,
slipping off his head.

Rachel's teeth shine like tiny white chiclets,
framed by blood red lipstick.
Hair slightly teased, standing on all ends;
whips in front of a very Victorian style dress.
A vampire princess from what I'm told.

Pillow cases overflowing with candy,
are deposited in Daddy's truck.

We meet up with an old time pal,
D. Deridder.
She's waiting, clutching a warm cup of pumkin spice latte,
[purchased from Starbucks.]

"Here you go," Dawn beams and hands us itunes music cards.

"All right, kids. Let's go!" Dad calls.
A chorus of Thank You's is carried through the atmosphere.
We pile into the truck, heading home.
Last Halloween.
