"It's time to nut up, or shut up." - Woodey Harrelson "Zombieland"

O Mother Earth,
Is that your heart I hear slowly beating?
Is that your mighty breath fleeting?
Is that your cries of pain
I hear whimpering?
Or is it my ears
Playing tricks on me..?

O Mother Earth,
Is that your blood spilling into rivers thee?
Are those scars
Deep in your skin I see?
Are these you tears
Falling down on me?
Or is it my eyes
Playing tricks on me..?

O Mother Earth,
Are those your forests..
Your ONLY life source turning brown and black?
Are those your animals.. Your CHILDREN
That will never come back?
Please tell me this cannot be.
Say your playing tricks on me!

O Mother Earth,
Are you dying..?
Is that the great secret
That you are hiding?
Are you trying to tell us
In your terrible storms?
Are you still here anymore....?

Strangely enough, I got the inspiration for making this poem when I heard a strange sound outside.

Never Question Yourself. If someone tells you to change, stay exactly who you are. No one should ever try to change you.
