Gummy Ballad

After opening the package,
There was love at first sight,
As many gummies tumbled out,
Filling me with delight.
If it weren't for their essence
With fruit in each flavor,
I would have dumped them long ago,
And have nothing to savor.
Chewy, as well as yummy,
There is something else too,...
Well it's their color of course!
This will satisfy you!
Overall gummies are tasty,
Yummy, and colorful,
And bundled up in a package,
So they stay wonderful!
A short time later I noticed,
That there were no more to eat.
Soon my stomach ached and grumbled-
I wish I had a treat!
