I'm looking at her,
She speaks the wisest words.
There's so much knowledge,
Inside her young heart.
I tell her about my crying, my tears.
And I look away.
Creating waterfalls down my cheeks,
I look in her eyes,
And I try to put on a happy face.

And I try to look up,
But I can't muster up the strength,
To look into her eyes.
Because, well, we just aren't the same...
