How are you faring

down by the bay?

With a heart that’s too heavy

and a mind that’s astray.

How are you faring

up by the nest?

With a voice clear and pure

and a figure of a bird.

How are you faring

on this cold winter night?

With an eye on the moon

and a face that’s pale blue.

How are you faring

on this sunny spring day?

With a head in the clouds

and eardrums that rebound.

How are you faring

o Mighty Seamen?

With a ship made of wood

and an imagination that is as it should.

Sometimes...I just like imagining I'm someone else. Some days I'm a princess of a faraway land, some days I'm a valiant knight who has gone to fight and conquer, and other days I'm a onlooker, a passerby, just watching...
