Tears are streaming down my face
Im all alone tonight
Left with nothing
But memories of you
Of what we used to be

I keep replaying those nights
The best times of my life
But now they are fading memories

We used to be so close
told each other everything
But now you are just a name
Something of my past

My eyes don’t shine anymore
My tears never dry
My smile doesn’t reach my ears
The life of me is gone

The most important person
The one who got me through
The hardest times of my life
Is gone

I want so bad to see you
To be wrapped in your embrace
But I know there is no chance
You would only hurt me in the end

I loved you and trusted you
You used me and left me
I don’t know why I was so blind

I guess everything you told me was a lie
From the very beginning
All those times you made me smile
It was all a lie

Every time I think of you
Tears run down my cheeks
I wish I could tell you
I am okay with you being gone
But I don’t want to lie to you

I don’t get you
I cant wrap my mind around you
The reason you treated me
Why you lied

I have to keep telling myself
To get over you and leave you behind
But its so hard for me
Especially everything we’ve been through

There were times when you were my only friend
Times when I turned to no one but you
When I trusted you with all my heart
But you left
Used me for yourself

I cant believe I was so stupid
I should have known better
I should have realized
And saved myself the pain

I lay here every night
Thinking about you
Wondering when you are going to come back
But I know its never going to come true

I wish you were here with me now
Forever and always
But part of me knows
You would just leave me again
All alone
To cope with you leaving again
Using me again, hurting me again

I love you
I always will
But I guess there are just times
When you have to
love and let go
Let go and move on
Move on and start over
