"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it."
Roald Dahl

It blossoms
in my sternum.
It’s tight and
like I have a weight
sitting on my chest.
it spreads like
a fire.
It steals my
leaving me gasping for
It finds its way
up my throat,
reaching its tendrils
out my mouth,
forcing my throat
to close.
The tightness
is unbearable.
The pain and agony
and fear
overwhelm my body.
I gasp
and wheeze.
My eyes bulge;
my hands claw
at my throat,
willing it to let me
But air won’t come.
Panic won’t allow it.
