The Skarr home world, known as Thrrrrpppnarr by it's natives, is a world of dense forests, tall mountains, deep fresh water oceans, and white sandy beaches. During it's formation, the planet was constantly bombarded by large meteors, leaving huge craters in the planets surface. One hit near a volcano and is an important landmark, known as "The Pit Of Fiery Damnation". It's cities are built high above the forest canopy so as not to ruin the ecology.

The Planet is home to an intelligent space faring species known as the Skarr, who have dinosaur like bodies, and at full size can range from 9 to 11 feet tall. Their eyes are below their mouths, much like that of a whale, and their noses are twin tubes on either side of their head. The race is made up of a complicated government which is centered in "The City of Divine and Democratic Law". Who's hierarchy ranges from the "Holy Prime Minister of Royal Supremacy", to the lowest of the low, who are given the title of "Clerk".

For a while, the title of "Holy Prime Minister of Royal Supremacy" was changed simply to "The Lord", during the age of the "Eighth Imperium" when the cousin of the rightful ruler began a conquest against Earth with the interstellar government known a "The UNISYNC". This conflict later became known as The Insurrection", named after the group of rebels led by the rightful ruling family. The Skarr species is now a member of the "I.P.D." and are on good terms with the rest of the galaxy
