Worth Two in the Bush

Sadly, this piece was never completed. I put it in the kiln too soon (there was a contest deadline involved) and it exploded. The only photo I have of it is this one, and unfortunately it was taken while it was still a work in progress. Ah well, live and learn. For the finished sculpture, the bird would have been in the hand.

Thanks! Luckily the bird was not harmed, so I still have that as a momento. :)

Despite not being what you wanted, it is still an interesting piece. I've found that some of my best pottery and sculpture has been pieces that broke in the kiln.
