The life of Mara, A true story
Summary:
I am Margaret Clements, but you can call me Mara for short. I’m an 11-year-old girl and I will be going to New Valley Middle School in the North Bay of California. The school is across the street from my house so I get to walk there. It’s going to be my first year in middle school so I will write about all the adventures that happen. P.S: Don’t read my diary unless permitted to do so. I can’t let all of my secrets get lost. If you have this book in your hands, you are eligible to read my diary… as long as you don’t tell my parents or my Filipino grandma. They can be a bit judgy about some of the topics in this diary. So, if you follow that one rule, if you can keep all of the information in the diary a secret, then you can read my diaries. How did I get myself into such bliss? You’ll find out soon. This is my sixth-grade diary.
