Bullying
Bullying, its really an evil thing and some people don’t seem to realize, kids all over the world get bullied everyday and to a certain point where it changes kids mental state about things, or even themselves. That’s where I stand up and try and make a difference in peoples lives, a simple smile or handshake may save a persons life. “When people hurt you over and over, think of them like sand paper. They may scratch and hurt you a bit, but in the end, you end up polished and they end up useless.”
? Chris Colfer
My teacher once told me a story of a kid who sat if the front of the doors of his high school and greeted everybody who walked through the doors. 10 years later a man came to him saying how his greetings he gave him each morning helped him through committing suicide multiple times, and how that it helped him know that he wasn’t invisible because of him being bullied at home, and at school. Standing up to bullying can be simple as that. A simple greeting can go a long way, even saving a life.
