Heated Heart
I started from nothing
Beat down like a dog
I've been dragged all over
And have bruises like scars
Then I have been finally shoved
In one place to stay
I looked around
It wasn't only me,
Who has gotten this way
I didn't know their past
But they seemed like me
Things that they do
Behaviors, I can see
I'm starting to get drawn in
Happy tears of something that I do not know
Is this belonging?
Face swells
My heart is too big
Can I finally be happy?
Then I take a hit.
I stand shocked
What has happened?
What has changed
After this short time
I have been fooled
About my heart line
Have I been beaten down again?
What have I known
Was this head over heals?
Do I not know happiness on this broken throne?
Stab me once again
It is worse than dragging
Kick me down
And make me geek like I'm nothing
I withdraw
I do not want to see the faces of my killers
I have had enough
This is an evil lie
That you make mine
I wanted to belong
I wanted to help
I wanted to make better
Then you deselect my head
And it rolls on
Like nothing has seen before
I withdraw
With one's in my control
We stand together
And let the broken ones pass by
We realize
That this is our faith
This is why we have chosen to come by
Others pull down
Drag down
Lash out
While we mix in with the crowd for all
