Smiling faces of fake friends,
heartbreak of the abstraction and lances of their anger.
looking happy and pleasant,
waiting in lie to destroy your sanity.

The author's comments:
short, four-line poem i wrote about fake people and fake friends. They really consumed the first part of my adolescent life and i never knew who i was and who they were. Now that I do know i look back on that time of life with scorn. Scorn at myself and scorn at them, for what they did to me and what i did to myself.
