Tiger
My coat is beautiful
But it is mine
Please don't kill me for my skin
You're taking my home
And my family
You seperate me from my children
With your tall structures
I live in the shadows they cast
They block out the Sun
Your loud noises frighten me
So I lash out
I try to protect myself
But I am confused
You put me on death row
No trial
No jury
please! My life is important too!
I have value
You keep me in cages
Lock me up and beat me
I sit here looking out
I am important
But you don't see that
