Rain
The rain pours out of the sky almost like it's draining the ocean.
Drip.
Drip.
Drip.
The rain heavily flows down the sleek window, soiling the window pane.
Plants soon awaken to take a drink of water that is now embedded deep in their roots.
Worms emerge out of their hiding place in the rich soil
Birds bathe in the fresh rain.
Finally the last crack of thunder booms out, and the rain comes to a stop.
Drop.
Drop.
Drop.
The remains of water fall off the rooftop.
The sun slowly dries up the rain.
Plants take their last drink
Worms soak up the last bit of moisture the rain left for them
Birds throw the last drop of water over their head
Now there is nothing to do but wait, for another rainstorm of life.
