Nothing's What It Seems
Why is it that my life is always being watched.
Everything I do is monitored.
ALWAYS
nothing is truly mine
nothing I have was given to me
out of love or for holidays
it's always a test.
Is she going to do this?
Probably, let's test her just in case.
Provoke her,
see how far we can get her to go.
Then reel her in,
take the hook out,
and throw her back.
Is she going to do it?
Are we going to make her?
Let's try it.
Scar her,
then tell her it will
be ok.
But it never is.
NEVER
I have no friends
the ones I have
pretend to be
breaking my heart every
chance they get.
Ripping it shredding it
then going to the morgue
and getting new skin
to repair the damage
so I don't die.
Just so they can do it again.
nothing is what it seems.
watch everything, trust no one
show no emotion
don't let them
get to you.
Never.
