Teen Depression
Do you feel sad most of the time? Is the sadness making you forget lots of things? Is it hard to make up your mind? Restless a lot? These could be signs of depression. If it is depression there is some good news you can get treatment, and feel better soon.
Clinical depression is a serious illness that can affect anybody, including teenagers! This sort of depression can affect your health and the way you think, even the way you act around friends. Getting better is easy. Most teens with depression can get help with treatment. But overall, only 1 in 5 depressed teens get psychiatric treatment, and those who go untreated are likely to experience a recurrence of their depression. So if you think you or a friend is suffering from depression, you feel sad and down for too long, just remember you are not alone. You can get help very easily, all you have to do is ask for help from a parent or a responsible adult
