Genes and Sports

We all strive to be the best in something we'll take the recent example of Michael Phelps and swimming, He's not the greatest Olympian in history because he practiced for I'd guess three years, that's time in the pool not time elapsed. It's part of it but genetics has a lot to do with it too, His body is almost perfectly designed to swim. The point I'm making is where practice will make you good you'll never be great without the right genes. It's still worth trying but don't expect to be the greatest unless you've found your niche
