People comment on it and may even bully you about it, but you must be strong in the end. Josephine tells us how she starts appreciating her birthmark rather than covering it up from society.

    Josephine’s piece shows the reader that self-love is important, which was nice to hear as someone who has been bullied in the past due to distinct features. I could relate to her work, and accepting yourself will always be more important than what anyone else thinks of you. When you grow older, you realize that others opinions do not matter. Josephine’s story is real and beautiful.
