To Find, First Lose

I was touched the second I read the title of Tina Yong's memoir, "To Find, First Lose". I'm a strong believer of getting lost to find yourself, for I am lost now. The author uses figurative speech to emphasize her thoughts and emotions about her iffy experience, moving far from home. I completely agree with Tina, losing yourself is what you need to "realize that alienation is a self-imposed concept". With a warm hug, I thank Tina for such relevant story, not just to me but many others. I hope stories like this speak loud enough to improve oneself.
