Times Squared MAG
When I read the poem “Times Squared” by Pallavi T., I felt like it really showed New York City life. I love how it put a great detailed image of Times Square in my head. I especially like this line: “above congested roads choked with yellow cabs coughing fumes.” It brings out the whole vibe of traffic and taxi cabs. The poem also depicts people with shopping bags and expensive purses when it says “clogged arteries spotted with the boast of imitation Gucci bags.”
I liked “Times Squared” because it reminded me of my visits to New York. I was very inspired by this well-written poem.
