School Closing
I’m writing in response to “School Closing Response Plan Worked” posted on October 26th. I think it’s interesting how after the school opened back up, there was a jump of absentees by six percent. Since children are more susceptible to falling ill, the first action should have been to take the rest of the week off as a primary action. The children don’t stop their everyday activities if school is closed, which results in them actively running around and visiting others . . . as well as being in contact with more people. I do applaud the officials by preparing for more closings, while willing to lend help for those who don’t have computers or internet if the schools do.
