Obsession MAG
I like Bryan’s article “Obsession” about being a cheerleader. I also appreciate the feedback of another reader praising the author’s dedication to the sport, and urging others to support him. Male cheerleading is not something I have ever liked or supported, and the article in no way convinced me to become one, but I now appreciate and respect the fact that some boys are gymnasts and enjoy cheerleading. I play sports and consider myself dedicated but if I had to drive three hours to practice like Bryan does, I would bag practice.
The thing I liked most about this article is that Brian doesn’t care what others think, he just does what he loves. There are sports that I look more fit for or have the body type for, but I enjoy doing other sports and I don’t care about what people say I should be doing. I, too, just do what I want.
