This tale of Danielle losing her father and sister in a car wreck was one of the most heartfelt stories I have ever read. Tears were streaming down my face as I read it and I wondered, What if this happened to my family? I have never lost anyone close to me, so I cannot say I can really relate, but I do share my sympathy. Danielle is really brave for submitting this, and I wish with all my heart that everything goes well for her.

This piece was beautifully written, and I love the way she included the lyrics to “Nights in White Satin.” The song lessens the pain, yet adds seriousness to the piece. This story radiates grief, and will touch the hearts of all who read it. It definitely touched mine.
