War on Terrorists? MAG
I am an Army-bound teenager. That's my dream: to go into the military and fight my butt off for my country. I have a cousin in the Army now which is where I will be pretty soon.
I read a poem by a girl on your opinion page called "War on Terrorists?" She's expressing her opinion, but I think it's crap. I want to know if the author knows how hard these men and women are fighting, giving their lives for our country. Maybe the soldiers have families and kids. I would be damn proud of any soldier who makes it, especially if it was one of my parents. This person is writing from the comfort of Suffern, New York while the military is over there fighting. This author needs to open her eyes and see what our soldiers go through.
