Luke's Story
When I read about Luke's diagnosis with encephalitis, I cringed with fear that something so awful could occur to anyone; a disease stealing the memories we build. Our memories are our lives. We hold onto the existence of those we lost and those we forgot. The description struck to my core, when he could not remember the surroundings around him and his loved ones' faces. Reading on, tears of happiness rolled down my cheeks, learning he overcame his disease. I felt touched by the bravery of the afflictions you encountered through your brother's battle. I admire your strength and courage to accept your tribulations.
