The Lies We Tell
"The Lies We Tell," by Crystal Larsen is beautifully written, and expresses the truth behind how we cover up the world. It has made me realize that lies are used to make a happiness sprout and create a blissful world.
By simply describing the process of life and how every mother passes on the lies her mother told her, reveals how a blanket is spread across our eyes so that life will run smoothly. It also expresses that we can never see ourselves or truly live again until we let the lies become truth. In reality, we must learn to live in a society were happiness is desired but can and will be broken when the truth is spoken. Lies make the world go round, even when the lies are the truest that will ever be said. Thank you Crystal for bringing truth to my eyes.
