Riding with Nicole
The feel good good feeling in Katie Brennan’s, “Riding with Nicole” is an experience shared with all teens and a car to themselves. What had an astounding effect was the sensory imagery used from beginning to end. With it starting from the very first sentence with, “the music flooded my eardrums…..” The mood of the author’s writing becomes more than just words on paper when she describes how the car really was a way of bonding with her sister. Katie Brennan’s work is nothing short of a wonderful work of art.
