"A Crash Course in Coolness"
In the October issue of Teen Ink, Emily Doughan writes an interesting article called "A Crash Course in Coolness." I am not surprised that Emily reacted the way she did. I completely agree that your first accident as a new driver probably will be pretty scary, especially when it happens so close to the time that you first get your license. The important thing to remember is to stay calm and do not panic, although getting your license is cool and fun at first. Always remember to be safe, and driving unsafe is not cool. It is always good to have parents who will help you through things like that, as Emily’s father did. I have never been the driver in a car crash, but I bet it can be pretty scary. But I know that when, if, the day comes that I am in a car crash that my parents will be there to help me as Emily’s were.
