Uniforms Understood
When I read Uniforms Understood it made me realize how lucky I am to go to a school that is not uniformed. I would hate to have to be the same as 500 other kids at my school. I think that my style explains who I am, and if we had to wear a uniform, then I would not be able to show that. People need to learn how to express themselves through different things.
I know that I like to express my mood through what I wear. If I wake up in the morning and I feel like I just want to be comfy, then I wear my favorite pair of sweats. If I feel like it’s my day to shine then I try to look my best. What people wear can say a lot about them and I think that uniforms take that away. I hope that schools will reconsider the whole uniform factor and that they can get over the fact that people do not want them and that they really need to go.
