Lies my parents told me
I can definately relate to the story "Lies my parents told me". I liked how right in the beginning it hooked me into reading more. I thought this story would be a sad story but turned out this was quite an amusing story. When i was young, I would always cry after we threw out the Christmas tree. Instead of having me cry, my parents made up a little white lie teling me the tree was not being thrown away, butwas going to be replanted for next years Christmas. They finally broke the news to me when I was about nine or ten years old.
