How to escape from a bad date
There is more ways of escaping from a bad date rather than doing all of that stuff to try and make it look like a good escape. You can just tell your date that you don't feel good or you just don't want to be here. You don't have to go as far as the person in the story did. Just say that you don't like him anymore and go home.
