The Cost of Prom
Although I don't agree with Matt 100%, I do agree with many of his points in the article. There are girls in my school who will pay $300 for a dress, $30 or more for jewelry and about the same for shoes and I haven't even thought about how much they spend on tanning and getting their hair and nails done. Many of those girls wear their dress once. I got my dress, jewelry and shoes for less than most of their dresses cost. I will also wear my dress at least three times this year, not to mention the uses I will have for it next year.
