Why I need to go to college
In the article " Why I need to go to college " Amy hillburn explains in depth the reasons why she must attend college , aswell as background information about her immigrant journey to the U.S. She stated " My mom works 13 hours every other saturday to save up for my college education, would it be fair for me not to go to college, after all that? ". I agree/relate with Amy hillburn, beacuse life as an immigrant parent ,better yet, a single parent is very diffuclt. For example, having equal education, high paying job,and or being able to buy a house are few of the many hardships an immigrant parent faces. Amy hillburns article gave the readers more of an incite and understanding about taking grand opportunities for granted. Moreover, Amy hillburn gave us just what we needed to hear to make a change in our life or continue as you are and be gratful for everything you have and will have, because not everyone gets the same opportunities. A heart-felt thanks to Amy hillburn for sharing her wonderful story with us.
