Blair V.'s article, "I lost my name," was as accurate as Dak Prescott's throwing accuracy. Blair's word was on point when he said, "I now live in a world of black and white. Nothing stands out anymore." As in, as we go on in life, people tend to be what the "cool" or "popular" people are. Whether that be funny, disrespectful, quiet but energetic and passionate... People do not understand that being themselves could possibly end up to be like the cool or popular people and influence others to be like that person. That is why I started to be my own person and not to do what others like. It is all right to stand out of a crowd, being full of colors in a ocean of black and white. You could easily influence others to be who you are then to be like someone who is like someone else. So, thank you Blair for writing this inspirational and relatable article.
