Children of the Concrete Jungle
“Children of the Concrete Jungle” by “Chad” has brought me to tears. In just a few words, he captured the unfortunate reality that many kids my age face everyday. People just like me are suffering from fear. And many kids have had their life taken away, but none have been recognized.
Many crossfires involve the murders of children because they were at the wrong place at the wrong time. Is their death worth less than ours? Just because they lost their life to aid the cops in finding a criminal doesn't mean their life is worthless. In fact, their death should mean more. Then why are we ignoring it? Why do we not care about the children that are shot dead because they just happened to be at the scene? Why don't we care about them?
Let kids enjoy their youth. Don't hurt them.
