Swept Away, a poem by Angela L. clearly describes the present tense of life, no matter if you long for something or someone. Even if you are thinking of the future or if you want something, things with always be in the present and life will always go slowly and chronologically. In this poem specifically, thoughts conjure up about life but life still continues and nothing changes and all life is, is yourself on a Q train.
