Feedback on Brooklyn Beginnings
Brooklyn Beginnings by Kerishma T. is a fiction piece about a girl named Kaira who gets stuck in Brooklyn while trying to get back to her family in Queens for the holidays. Kaira didn’t really like to be home with her family but she needed to. While stranded in Brooklyn, she meets an unfamiliar guy who takes her around Brooklyn doing fun activities. By the end, the mysterious character of “the guy” finally convinced her that she doesn’t have to be the profession that her parents want her to be, instead it’s better to talk to them and choose your own life. This piece not only incorporates romance but a theme that you are in control of your own life.
