Untitled MAG
whatdoes it matter
because babies always laugh
and something must give themcause to smile
trees' leaves change to deep shades of sunset
and someonemust build piles and jump
as bits of paper colored with the chalk of bitterwinds
fly and engulf them in a different world
colorful
with no twoleaves the same
simple conversations
weave patchwork quilts of memoriesand perspective
you must stop and listen
to the words that findpatterns
the wind that rushes and slows
never deciding if the next step issafe
it matters
because even if the road to tomorrow
is blocked by thetorn pieces of yesterday
we have nowhere to start but with the simple presents
of today
