Loneliness
Knowing you’re alone,
And knowing no one cares.
It’s the same feeling you get
When you’re falling down the stairs.
A room full of people,
But none who talk to you.
If you sit next to them,
You’d be considered rude.
It’s the weekend,
And there’s nothing to do.
You’re at home with your dog,
And you’re stuck cleaning your room.
At the football game,
When the students gather around.
You’re sitting with your parents,
Hoping not to be found.
When you walk into school,
Where the cliques seem to rule.
You feel pretty lonely,
In this unwelcoming school.
