Something To Think About
When thousands of girls line up to by the newest purse that might be a little over their budget.... maybe just $1000 or so, when they skip school to go try of $100 worth of make-up so they can look like the model on the poster- something is wrong. All these teenage girls see is a beautiful, flawless, and slim woman on the bill-board, magazine, T-V, or computer. We all think she’s just like that. It’s just an illusion. Of course we hear they’re not that great, but Dove has really shown me how bad these companies want people to buy their product. They show the hours of ‘Evolution’ from an ordinary girl to the envied model- some girls want that look so bad they’ll kill them-self. Instead of spending hours animating the woman, maybe we should be worrying about more important matters. Like this delicate place- the only one we know of that has life- we call home. Or we could worry about who has the latest Prada sunglasses. Something to think about? Yea.
