America
In American towns, the status-quo isn't about how much money you have and how big your house is, but instead about how much you're there for your neighbor and how big your heart is. America is about towns where it’s football on Fridays and Saturdays, and then church and NASCAR on Sundays.
America is a place where fried chicken isn’t just one recipe everyone knows, but a thousand recipes everyone wants. This is a place where the biggest chain is an A&W three miles down the road. Where it’s one hour away from a big city, or ten minutes away from your favorite fishin’ hole.
America is the place where Tim McGraw, Johnny Cash, George Strait and Hank Williams Jr describe our way of life and that’s “a country boy can survive.” America is the place where we like our trucks lifted and our tires dirty. This is a place filled with Dale Earnhardt Jr. fans, Brad Keselowski fans, Tony Stewart fans, and NASCAR fans of all sorts.
America is a place where hunting isn’t found to be cruel, but is a good way to pass time and get meals. Americas about the town where you spend your Thanksgiving with mamma and the rest of your family. America is the place where the drink of choice is either a iced tea or a cold beer. This is the place where it’s family first, friends second, God third, and football every other day of the week. This is the place where high school sweethearts become the cute old couple down the street.
America isn't just New York City or a Los Angeles; America is Mountain Home, Arkansas or Park Falls, Wisconsin.
America is the place where we say y’all, yes ma’am, and yes, sir without thinking. America is about a small towns, where old men still carry guns and Friday nights are life; that’s why I’m proud to be an American.
