America, America
In time of war and depression, we raise her high; she gives hope. When a soldier dies we
honor the family with her, she brings remembrance. In our victories we showcase her to all;
she is the sign of freedom. Some love her, some hate her, most respect and honor her. She is
our flag, the American flag. Red, white and blue are her colors, and her meaning is peace and
freedom. If you are an American you should honor our flag. Our country needs to be proud of
who we are, and we should be proud to raise our flag in every school, in every public library,
and in every place which claims to be judicial, we will raise her.
