Looking outside my house in Gangtok, I see the Himalayas, a vast chain of beautiful mountains glistening with caps of snow. Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga, and many more mountains are in my view. However, there is one mountain in the Himalayas that outshines them all. Gangkhar Puensum is located in the happiest country in the world, Bhutan and while it is not the tallest or grandest, it is the one that has never been climbed. Humans have been to Antarctica, sent rovers all around the galaxy, and even have set foot on the moon, but have never seen what lies atop the 40th highest mountain. Gangkhar Puensum is a reminder that humans do not know everything and that a lot of the world is still a mystery.
