Why My Vote Matters
The writing titled Why My Vote Matters, written by Kimberly H., talks about the importance of your vote. Her writing left me feeling surprised and also grateful. In the writing, Why My Vote Matters, it talks about the importance of your vote. She tells us how her father and and grandfather came over to the United States looking for work to make money and provide for their family. In the writing it says, “A single vote may not seem like much, but it could be the difference between life and death.” This quote made me think a little bit. I asked myself does it really make a difference; then she went on to say, “It can determine if a young adult with cancer gets chemotherapy or whether our brave veterans have access to the care they deserve.” After reading this writing it made me make a promise to myself that I will vote every year until I die because it really can be a difference between life or death. You could save a person’s life by just simply filling out a ballet.
